Three or more different shades – NaPoWriMo Day 14

I have a little more to say about the poem below (as today has not been the best day), please read on for a little explanation.

This is a found poem from the cancer research website http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/about-cancer/type/melanoma/about/melanoma-symptoms

Today I visited the doctor and he told me that I need an (urgent!) biopsy to check for melanoma… so hopefully nothing serious (yet) – but it definitely shakes you up a little.
I hope it will be fine and I am just a strange moley person… but I will have the biopsy done in the next two weeks, so I don’t have too long to wait.

Anyway, that is what inspired me to the poem above. I just found that the symptoms to look out for, were so interesting and oddly inspiring.

As always, I am aware that it is a little bleak – but that’s the fun of poetry 🙂
